Hello! 

This is the official landing page for FIRST Tech Challenge Team 23361: Cosmobotics. 

We are a Robotics Team based in Austin, Texas, and it is currently our third year as a team! 

Over the past 2 years, we have accomplished a variety of feats, including:

• Qualifying for the International Chicago Robotics Invitational with our friends at 17315 Tomahawk Robotics, supplying parts and outreach assistance.

• Winning the Control Award at the State Cowtown Invitational, signifying exceptional software and control systems on our robot.

• Winning the Innovate Award sponsored by RTX at the Central Texas Semi-Area Championship, signifying highly innovative and unique components on our robot.

• Winning the Connect Award at the Regional GEMS League Championship, signifying exceptional connections and sponsorships within the professional STEM field

• Garnering over 20,000+ views across our social media platforms on Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram.

• Raising over $20,000+ for Cosmobotics and robotics in general.

• Collecting over 30+ hours of robotics related outreach and community service

• Growing our team to 15 members, with 30+ applicants applying for our team.

• Developing an exceptional 18x18x18 in. robot which ranked Top 25 in Texas and Top 100 in the World in Offensive Power Rating (OPR).

• Gaining 501(C)3 non-profit status making our organization completely tax-exempt.

• Mentoring 5 FIRST Lego League Teams including Octonauts, BCP7, and Lego Leaders

• Mentoring 5 FIRST Tech Challenge Teams including 17113 Westwood Hunga Munga, 18886 Westwood Boomerang, and 20890 SIGMA

• Mentoring 1-2 VEX Teams Including 10702X Milkyway Monkeys

• And Developing Skills In:

  • 3D Printing

  • CNC Routing

  • Power Tools

  • Java

  • Bezier Curve Autonomous Pathing

  • Trajectory Based Autonomous Pathing

  • Computer Vision (through OpenCV and Limelight)
